Meet your local guide from Guizhou Province at Guiyang airport. Guizhou is nicknamed "The Kingdom of Mountains", as 87% of its land is comprised of mountains and plateaus. After lunch you will transferred to the trail head. We will have a short hike along a picturesque valley. There is a crystalline brook passing through the valley with clusters of bamboo trees. On the way to your home-stay, you will encounter some Paper-making workshops.

 

This morning you will have three hours to hike through lush green pastures and rice paddies, you will be deeply impressed by Guizhou’s hidden corners of breathtaking backcountry. After lunch, drive 2.5 hours to Kaili. Pay a visit to the Kaili Museum, which will offer you an overall view of the ethnic costumes in Guizhou. Dinner at a local famous restaurant to taste the Miao people’s traditional food—Sour soup with catfish

 

In the morning drive to the trail head, and then hike through the beautiful countryside from Huzhuang to Chongan Ge Village. You will engage an unidentified minority group ---the Ge people. In the afternoon hike through the gorgeous mountains from Baode to Nanmeng, you will encounter the locals farming in the rice paddies. The marvelous irrigation system—waterwheel can be found in the late afternoon. Have dinner at a local Miao’s home and gain a better understanding of life. Overnight in a local Miao’s wooden house. The host of the homestay is a master of Lusheng(the Miao people's most important musical instrument )

 

In the morning explore a mini-skirt Miao Village—Datang (It is famous for the granaries on the water). On the way back to Guiyang city, you will have a chance to visit Shiqiao Miao Village and Qingman Miao village.
