Airport
There are direct flights from Beijing, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Haikou to Xiangfan, from where it takes 3 hours by bus to the mountain. There are also direct flights from Beijing, Shenzhen, Fuoshan to Laohekou, which is 90km from Wudangshan.
Railway Station
Wudangshan is on the railway line from Wuhan to Chongqing, but few trains make the stop and you may have to take a bus to Shiyan (1 hour). The daily Wuchang-Xiangfan-Shiyan Y235/234 tourist train stops at Wudangshan Station. The railway station is called Wudangshan, but the town used to go by the name of Laoying. Travelers from Shanghai should take the Shanghai-Chengdu train (K282, RMB350), getting off at Shiyan, then change to a local bus.
Bus Station
Daily long distance buses run to Danjiangkou from Xiangfan and Shiyan. Minibuses to Shiyan go up and down the main street collecting passengers. The journey takes about 50 minutes.
