| Day 01 Entry Wudangshan
On arrival you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. You will be free for the rest of the day.
Day 02 Wudangshan (B, L, D)
Drive to enter the scenic spot and transfer to Qiongtai Terrace. Cable car to the Golden Top. Tour the Golden Top, also named the Sky Pillar Peak. On arrival, you will understand why so many Chinese Poets sighed the surrounding mountains were so small. Because many surrounding mountains are bowing to the Sky Pillar Peak. Golden Top covers an area of about 500 square meters. In the middle lies the Golden Hall, a masterpiece of ancient buildings. This is one of the reasons why Mt Wudang was inscribed in the World Cultural Heritage List. In the hall stands the Supreme Emperor Zhenwu, worshipped by many Toist followers throughout China. They strongly believe Emperor Zhenwu will surely answer their prayer!
Cable car to return to Qiongtai Terrace. Drive to the Crown Ridge (Wuja Ling). Tour Southern Grotto Palace. This palace has long been known as the most beautiful one of the nine palaces in the Wudang Mountains. Here you may taste the holy water from the Ancient Honeydew Well (Ganlu Jing). You may also serve an incense on the Dragon Head, which may be an adventurous yet wonderful experience!
Stay in one of the hotels for night. It may be an unique way to spend your night in the wild mountains. It is so tranquil!
Day 03 Wudangshan (B, L, D)
After breakfast weĄŻll visit Wudang Taoist Wushu Academy. The Academy, funded by Wudangshan Taoist Association, is one of the best Wushu schools at Wudang. Since it has the best masters teaching orthodox wudang internal kinfu. Now Zhong Yunlong, the 14th disciple of Sanfeng Sect and one of the two best masters at the mountains, manages the academy.
Begin to learn Yangsheng Kung. Yansheng Kung (Taoist Bodybuilding Kungfu) has long been famous from ancient times for its practical use. Ancient emporers highly praised Yangsheng Kung and porpulized it among common people. If you keep practising Yangsheng Kung, youĄŻll feel comfortable, peaceful and energetic.
Day 04 Wudangshan/Exit (B)
Check out of the hotel and drive to get out of the scenic spot. Spend the morning at the town by yourself. After lunch, tour the Yuxu Palace and the Wudang Museum. The Yuxu Palace is the largest one of the eight palaces at Wudang. The museum exhibits the treasures of the mountains. Transfer to the train station to Wuhan or other places or XiĄŻan or Xiangfan.
Tentative Program: Wudangshan drive to Xiangfan, visit Gulongzhong and Xiangyang old City, take a flight at Xiangfan airport.
Note: If you like, staying to learn Kungfu for a few extra days is possible.
